My go-to appliance is definitely my single serve blender by Hamilton Beach.  This is the only appliance  I keep on my counter since I use it every day.

For me, this blender is the best value for any appliance, by far.  Here are 5 reasons I highly recommend this single-serve blender over any others.

  1. Durability – I’ve had this Hamilton Beach blender for about 4 years, use it pretty much every day and it still works as well as when it was brand new.

  2. Easy to clean – The design of the blender makes it very easy to clean.

  3. Measurement markings – The container in which you put your ingredients is marked so you can pour the right amount of liquid right in rather than using a measuring cup then pouring it into the container, which would require an extra step and an additional cup to wash.                                                                                                                                                                    

  4. Ease of use – You can put your ingredients right into the blender since it sits upright on its base.  Some other blenders sit upside down in the base, so you have to put your ingredients in then turn the base upside down to attach the blender.

  5. Drinkable lid – The lid has an opening so you can drink right out of the container (great for grabbing the smoothie if you’re running out the door)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 TBS. natural peanut butter
  • 1 TBS. cacao powder
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds (soaked in water)
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1 banana

Instructions

Pour almond milk or coconut milk into the blender. Add all other ingredients. Blend.
